Stuffed Cabbage Leaves - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground lamb or beef
1 c. rice
1 medium-sized head cabbage
1/2 can tomato paste
1 small can tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
cinnamon to taste
6 cloves garlic
Preparation

Boil cabbage leaves that have been separated for about 3 or 4 minutes. Place meat, rice, salt, pepper and cinnamon in bowl and mix well. If leaves are large, cut in halves. Stuff and roll with meat mixture into small firm rolls. Arrange the rolls in a cooking pot in layers and place 2 cloves of garlic between each layer. Cover with a dish in the pot and add water, tomatoes, tomato paste and salt. Cover and cook for 1/2 hour.
