Irish Scoon Recipe - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. raisins
    4 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix sifted baking powder, salt, flour and sugar together. Meanwhile, soak raisins in boiling water.
    Drain them and mix in flour.
    Beat egg and add milk.
    Mix (don't beat) well; add to flour.
    Bake in 9-inch square or round pans in a preheated 375\u00b0 oven for 3/4 hour.
