Quickie Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 Tbsp. salt
3 c. fresh strawberries
2 Tbsp. butter

Preparation

Clean and wash berries.
Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt together and add
to
the
berries.
Cover
one 9-inch pie pan with bottom crust
and
pour
in
the
berry mixture.
Dot the berries with butter and
cover
with the top crust.
Bake in a very hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to moderate oven at 350\u00b0 and bake for 30 minutes longer.
Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
