Chicken Caribbean - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 (3 lb.) broiler-fryer, cut up
    1/2 c. dark corn syrup
    2 tsp. grated lemon peel
    3 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    About 1 hour before serving:
    In 12-inch skillet, over medium-high heat, in hot margarine, cook chicken until browned on all sides.
    In cup, combine remaining ingredients; pour mixture over chicken and heat to boiling.
    Reduce heat to low; cover skillet and simmer 35 minutes or until chicken is fork-tender, basting frequently with liquid in skillet.
    Makes 4 servings.
