Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. butter, softened
    1 (1 lb.) box confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    6 large eggs (at room temperature)
    2 2/3 c. sifted flour
Preparation
    In large bowl, using mixer at medium speed, beat first four ingredients until light (2 minutes).
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition (total beating time: 10 minutes). Add flour; blend well.
