Chicken Paprikas - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 lb. chicken, cut in pieces
1/4 c. chicken fat or butter, melted
1 onion, chopped
salt and pepper
1 c. dairy sour cream
1 1/2 to 2 tsp. paprika
1 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 c. water or chicken broth
Preparation

Brown chicken pieces in melted fat or butter.
Remove from skillet and set aside.
Add onion and green pepper and cook until tender.
Add seasonings.
Return chicken to skillet.
Add water or broth.
Cover and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until tender. Place in a large covered casserole if your skillet is not ovenproof.
Blend flour and a little water; add sour cream and blend well.
Stir a little of the hot broth into sour cream, then return to skillet and blend.
Serve right away with dumplings.
