Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raisins
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 tsp. soda
    3 c. sifted flour
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. broken walnuts
Preparation
    Bring 2 cups water to a boil.
    Add the raisins and soda; cool 1/2 hour.
    Beat the eggs with beater.
    Add the sugar and beat together.
    Sift the flour with 1 teaspoon salt.
    Add the mixtures together; stir well.
    Fold in the walnuts and add vanilla.
    Have 4 pans well-greased and fill 3/4 full.
    Bake a full hour at 350\u00b0.
