Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. plain flour
    2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1 (No. 2) can fruit cocktail
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix dry ingredients together, then add the egg, fruit cocktail and vanilla.
    Stir gently; do not beat.
    Bake in a 2 x 5 x 13-inch pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
