Bird Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
1 c. uncooked cereal
1 c. flour
3 tsp. dry milk
1/2 c. bacon grease
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 c. bread crumbs

Preparation

Combine dry ingredients with enough water or skim milk to make a thick batter.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Cool.
Put in mesh bag and hang from tree.
