Layered Lettuce Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
    1 c. diced celery
    10 oz. frozen peas, thawed
    1/2 c. diced green pepper
    1 medium red onion, chopped
    2 c. salad dressing
    4 oz. shredded cheese
Preparation
    Layer ingredients in 9 x 13-inch pan in the following order: lettuce, celery, peas, pepper and onion. Spread salad dressing over top and top with shredded cheese. Cover and refrigerate for 8 to 12 hours. Keeps well for 3 to 4 days.
