Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch fresh asparagus or 1 can
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1/3 c. dried, buttered crumbs
    2 c. milk
    1/4 c. grated cheese
    1/3 tsp. pepper
    2 Tbsp. flour
    4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut asparagus in 1-inch pieces.
    Cook until tender; drain.
    Make a sauce of butter, flour, seasonings and 1 cup soft bread crumbs.
    Put a layer of asparagus in bottom of 1-quart, buttered casserole.
    Add sauce and half of hard-boiled eggs.
    Repeat with additional layer.
    Sprinkle with dried, buttered crumbs, mixed with the cheese.
    Bake 20 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
