Diabetic Lemon Chiffon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin
    4 egg whites
    12 packets Equal
    1/2 c. whipping cream (optional)
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    2/3 c. water
    1 tsp. grated lemon peel
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 egg yolks, beaten
    9-inch baked pie crust
Preparation
    Mix egg yolks, lemon juice and water in saucepan.
    Add salt and gelatin.
    Cook and stir over medium heat, just to boiling.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in 12 packets of Equal and lemon peel.
    Chill, stirring occasionally, until partly set.
