Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 green peppers
    12 red peppers
    12 medium onions
    1 1/4 pt. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 or 2 hot peppers (if desired)
Preparation
    Remove seeds from peppers.
    Grind and mix with ground onions. Pour boiling water over this and let stand 10 minutes.
    Drain. Mix vinegar, sugar and salt.
    Let come to a boil.
    Add other ingredients and boil 10 minutes.
    Pack in sterile, hot jars. Makes about 9 pints.
