French Fried Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    onions
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 whole egg, beaten
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Beat egg, oil and milk together.
    Sift dry ingredients together; stir liquid into flour mixture.
    Beat until smooth. Peel and slice onions across, about 1/4-inch thick.
    Separate into rings.
    While mixing batter, soak onion rings in milk, then dip rings in batter, taking care to cover completely.
    Fry in deep fat at about 375\u00b0.
    Salt lightly; keep in oven until ready to serve.
