Ingredients

2 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. milk
1 Tbsp. sugar (if desired)
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 Tbsp. butter
4 to 6 slices wheat or Italian bread
Preparation

In pie pan, beat eggs, milk, sugar and salt until well mixed. Melt butter in frying pan.
Dip bread in egg mixture, turning to coat both sides.
In frypan, cook until golden brown.
Serve with heated maple syrup.
