Grandma Miller'S Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 medium onion
    1 green pepper
    pepper
    1 can golden mushroom soup
    1/4 c. milk
    1 can stewed tomatoes
    sharp Cheddar cheese
    garlic salt
Preparation
    Saute onion and green pepper in 1 tablespoon oil until onion is transparent.
    Brown ground chuck, then add the tomatoes.
    Cook slowly for 15 minutes, then add soup and milk.
    Let simmer for 5 minutes.
    Butter large (3-quart) casserole.
    Put cooked noodles in ground chuck sauce; mix well, then put in casserole.
    Cut cheese in strips; push in noodles and sauce.
    More cheese, the better! Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
