King Ranch Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large fryer/hen, cooked and deboned (or substitute two 3 lb. 4 oz. cans whole chicken)
garlic salt to taste
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. soft corn tortillas, cut in triangles
1 large onion, finely chopped
1/2 lb. American cheese, grated
1 c. chicken broth
1 (10 oz.) Ro-Tel tomatoes, drained and crushed
1 bell pepper, finely chopped
Preparation

Divide all ingredients except tomatoes in half; layer in well-greased 3-quart rectangular casserole pan.
Begin with chicken sprinkled lightly with chili powder and garlic salt. Follow with 1/2 soup mixture, tortillas, onion, pepper, cheese and chicken broth.
