Nugget Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Karo syrup
    3/4 c. granulated sugar
    4 oz. (1 stick) melted margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. pecan pieces
    3/4 c. pecan halves
    3 eggs
Preparation
    Mix together syrup and sugar.
    Add melted butter, then mix in eggs and vanilla.
    Let stand a short time.
    Place pecan pieces in bottom of unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
    Pour filling over the nuts and cover with the pecan halves.
    Bake for 45 to 50 minutes at 325\u00b0.
    Makes 1 pie.
