Savory Crust Chicken Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter, softened
    1 c. (8 oz.) sour cream
    1 egg
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 to 1 tsp. ground thyme or sage
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 to 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 small carrot, finely chopped
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 small green pepper or celery, finely chopped
    1/2 c. red pepper or 1/4 c. pimento, chopped
    2 tsp. butter
    2 c. cubed cooked chicken or turkey
    1 1/4 c. condensed cream of chicken soup
    1/2 c. mushrooms, drained
Preparation
    In small mixing bowl, combine butter, sour cream and egg. Beat at medium speed until smooth.
    Add flour, salt, baking powder and thyme, blending at low speed until thoroughly mixed.
    In ungreased pie pan or baking dish, spread batter evenly over bottom and up sides of 1-inch of rim.
