English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. butter or oleo
    3 Tbsp. water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 Hershey bars
    3/4 c. nuts
Preparation
    Place first 4 ingredients in pan.
    Cook until brown (about the color of Heath bar filling), about 10 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
    Pour into buttered round cake pan.
