Coleslaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. cabbage, shredded (about 6 c.)
3 Tbsp. onion
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. celery seed (optional)
1/4 tsp. pepper*
2 Tbsp. vinegar
3/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
Preparation

Crisp the cabbage in ice water if necessary; drain thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients.
Toss to combine.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
