Chickamauga Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1 c. quick oats, uncooked
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. shredded coconut
    1 c. chopped pecans
    6 oz. butterscotch chips or morsels
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cream margarine and sugars.
    Sift flour and beat into creamed mixture.
    Beat in eggs, one at a time.
    Add oats, Rice Krispies, coconut, pecans and butterscotch chips; mix well.
    Add vanilla and stir.
    Chill in refrigerator for several hours.
    Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
    Bake for 8 to 12 minutes.
    Bake less for chewy cookies and more for crisp cookies.
    Yield:
    100 cookies.
