Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. squash, cubed
    4 c. onions, cubed
    2 large bell peppers, cubed
    1/4 c. salt
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Let squash, onion and pepper set in salt and water 1 hour, then drain.
    Mix the sugar, vinegar and celery and mustard seeds. Bring to a boil.
    Pour over squash mixture and let boil 3 minutes.
    Place in sterilized jars and seal.
