Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine
    3 c. sugar
    3 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. Crisco
    5 eggs
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 tsp. lemon flavoring
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar; add one egg at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add flour and milk, alternating.
    Mix well. Add flavorings and baking powder last.
    Put in a large greased tube pan.
    Line bottom of pan with 2 layers of paper.
    Put in cold oven.
    Cook at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
    Do not open oven door until time is up.
    Let cool before removing from pan.
