Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. soda
4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream margarine, vegetable oil, sugar, confectioners sugar and vanilla thoroughly.
Beat in eggs.
Sift dry ingredients; blend into egg mixture.
Chill.
Roll teaspoon of dough into balls; roll in additional sugar.
Press down on lightly greased cookie sheet with fork or bottom of oiled glass dipped in sugar.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Yield:
8 dozen cookies.
