Savory Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh green beans
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
    1/2 yellow bell pepper, chopped
    1/3 c. water
    3/4 tsp. dried dill weed
    1/2 tsp. savory
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    3 medium tomatoes, chopped
Preparation
    Wash and string beans.
    Set aside.
    In 4-quart saucepan, over medium heat, melt butter and saute onion and peppers about 5 minutes or until tender.
    Add water and seasonings.
    Bring to a boil and add green beans.
    Cover; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
    Add tomatoes and continue cooking until beans are tender, about 10 minutes.
    Serves 4 to 6.
