Black Walnut Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup of Butter, softened
    1 cup of Sugar
    1 cup of Brown Sugar, firmly packed
    2 eggs
    3 cups of Flour
    1/2 tsp baking soda
    1 tsp salt
    1 cup chopped black walnuts
Preparation
    In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and brown sugar.
    Add eggs and beat until smooth.
    In another bowl sift together the flour, baking soda and salt.
    Stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until well blended.
    Stir the black walnuts in last.
    Shape dough into logs about 2 inches in diameter, wrap in wax paper and refrigerate until firm.
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees, slice the dough logs into 1/2 inch slices and place on baking sheets.
    Bake in preheated oven for 8 - 10 minutes.
