Quiche(A Low Carb Recipe) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cups chopped onion
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
2 eggs
2 egg yolks
1-1/2 cups heavy cream
2 Tbsp sour cream
1/2 lb bacon, cooked crisp, drained and crumbled
1/4 lb shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp spicy mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
a pinch of cayenne pepper
Preparation

Preheat oven 350 degrees.
Spray pie or quiche pan with Pam. In skillet melt butter and cook onions three minutes and add mushrooms and cook until softened.
Set aside.
Combine the eggs, egg yolks, heavy cream, and sour cream in bowl with whisk.
Add cooked onion mixture and the rest of the ingredients and blend well.
Pour into pan and cook 40 to 45 minutes or until set in the center and golden brown on top.
Cool at least 10 minutes before serving.
Yields:
12 servings.
