Cornmeal Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
milk
Preparation
-
Sift together ingredients.
Add just enough milk to form a soft dough.
Drop by teaspoonfuls into broth.
Cover and simmer over low heat 15 minutes.
Dumplings will get soggy if you lift the lid before they are done.
