Crackling Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. cornmeal
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 c. bacon drippings
    1 1/2 c. cracklings, diced
Preparation
    Combine and sift together dry ingredients.
    Add well beaten eggs, buttermilk and bacon drippings.
    Stir until well blended, adding diced cracklings.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serve hot.
