Mushroom Meringues - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. egg whites (about 3 to 3 1/2)
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    cocoa to sprinkle
    chocolate (molding chocolate best)
Preparation
    Briefly beat eggs at moderate slow speed until foamy.
    Add salt and cream of tartar.
    Increase speed to moderate and beat another minute until whites hold soft shape.
    Continue to beat and add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time.
    Add vanilla when half the sugar has been added.
    Increase speed to high and beat 7 to 8 minutes until meringue is very stiff and the sugar is dissolved.
