Sweet And Sour Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. soy sauce
    3 Tbsp. oil
    1 can bean sprouts, drained
    1 can French-style green beans, drained
    1/4 c. water chestnuts, sliced
    1/4 c. chopped pimento
    1/3 c. chopped green onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
Preparation
    Heat vinegar and sugar to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
    Remove from heat; add soy sauce and oil.
    Cool.
    In medium size bowl, combine vegetables.
    Pour vinegar mixture over vegetables and toss.
    Cover and refrigerate for 24 hours.
    Makes five 1-cup servings.
