Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 stick melted butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 c. blackberry jam (seedless)
    1 c. pecans (optional)
    1 c. raisins (optional)
    1 tsp. soda (if not using self-rising flour)
Preparation
    Sift flour and spices together; set aside.
    Cream butter, sugar and eggs together; then add buttermilk.
    Then add butter and sugar mixture to flour and spices; stir in jam, nuts and raisins. Stir well.
    Bake in a buttered and floured tube (angel food) pan at 350\u00b0 for 55 to 60 minutes.
