Fried Artichoke Hearts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans artichoke hearts, drained
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 egg
    1/2 c. sifted flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. cold water
Preparation
    Place artichokes, lemon juice and water in a bowl; let sit for 10 minutes.
    Meanwhile, mix dry ingredients; add egg, then dip artichokes in batter; fry in oil and top with cheese of your choice (Cheddar, Parmesan, Mozzarella) and broil until cheese has melted.
