Tuna Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 8 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 can mushrooms, optional
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. milk
    2 (6 oz.) cans tuna
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 Tbsp. black pepper
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    In large pot boil cubed potatoes until just tender, drain off half of the water. Add all ingredients, simmer until cheese is melted. If too thick add small amount of milk to desired consistency. Serve with cornbread.
