Caramel Twix Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    35 unwrapped Kraft caramels
    1/4 c. water
    1 box (40) Nabisco Lorna Doone shortbread cookies
    2 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips
Preparation
    Mix the caramels with the water in saucepan and melt over low heat.
    Put the cookies side by side on an ungreased cookie sheet. Spoon a dab of caramel onto each cookie.
    Place pan in the refrigerator until the caramel firms up.
    In a double boiler over low heat, melt the chocolate chips.
    Remove pan from the refrigerator.
    Rest one cookie at a time on a fork and carefully dip in the chocolate.
    Place on wax paper and let cool several hours.
