Coconut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. soft butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease two 9-inch pans and dust with flour.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    In separate bowl, cream the sugar and butter, then add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
    Add dry ingredients and milk alternately, starting with dry ingredients, and beat until smooth.
    Pour batter into pans and bake 20 to 25 minutes.
    Cool.
