Strawberry Icebox Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. berries, cut in large pieces
    1/4 lb. butter
    1 lb. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 pt. cream, whipped
Preparation
    Put 1/2 wafers in bottom of 8 x 12 x 2-inch pan.
    Cream butter and mix well with sugar.
    Add 1 egg at a time and beat well. Spread over wafers.
    Cover with sliced berries, spread whipped cream over this.
    Cover with rest of crumbs.
    Refrigerate 10 to 12 hours.
