Freezer Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium cabbage
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 1/4 c. water
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 grated carrot
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Add salt to cabbage and let stand 1 hour.
    While standing, make syrup of vinegar, water and sugar.
    Add celery seed and mustard seed.
    Bring to full boil for one minute.
    Let stand until lukewarm.
    Squeeze water from cabbage; add carrots and pepper, then add syrup.
    Ready to freeze.
