Chicken In White Wine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 whole chicken breasts
    salt
    nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. onion, minced
    1/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    2/3 c. dry white wine
    1 tsp. cornstarch
    2 tsp. additional wine
Preparation
    Halve chicken breasts.
    Sprinkle with salt and nutmeg.
    Brown in butter.
    Add onion, mushrooms and wine.
    Bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.
    Remove chicken to platter.
    Bring pan juices to a boil.
    Mix cornstarch with 2 teaspoons of wine and stir into juices until thickened.
    Spoon sauce over chicken.
    Serve with rice.
    Serves 4.
