Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. water
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 egg
1 tsp. rum extract
2 c. white sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
2 c. flour
4 c. diced apples
3 Tbsp. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar
4 1/2 oz. carton whipped topping
Preparation

Cream together 2 eggs, white sugar, vanilla, salt, soda and shortening. Add water, flour and cinnamon. Beat mixture well. Stir in apples and nuts; mix. Pour into 13 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool.
