Mashed Potato Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    leftover mashed potatoes
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 c. butter
    2 onions, diced
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Brown beef and onions together in a skillet until golden brown.
    In a greased casserole pan, make a 1/4-inch layer of mashed potatoes.
    Alternate with a layer of beef and onion mixture.
    Make as many layers as desired, topping is with mashed potatoes.
    Spread the milk over this and dot with butter.
    Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
    Serve with a salad and a vegetable.
