Butter Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. water
    1/2 lb. real butter
    2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour and salt.
    Add water and mix well. Roll out on floured surface to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Brush with melted butter.
    Sprinkle with 1 cup of the sugar and cinnamon. Roll jelly roll fashion and cut into 1 1/2-inch thick slices. Place in buttered pan and bake at 370\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    While rolls are baking, heat milk and remaining sugar over low heat for 10 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla.
    Pour over rolls and bake an additional 10 minutes.
