Ingredients

1 c. boiling water
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
2 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. raisins
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Pour boiling water over raisins and shortening.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bake at 375\u00b0.
