Short Ribs With Lima Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. large dry lima beans
    5 c. water
    3 lb. short ribs
    1/2 c. catsup
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 clove garlic, minced
    3 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Rinse limas, add the 5 cups water.
    Boil 2 minutes, remove from heat and let stand 1 hour.
    Brown ribs in skillet, remove excess fat.
    Bury ribs in limas and add remaining ingredients. Cover and cook gently until meat and limas are tender.
    If needed, add more water, season with salt and pepper to taste in the last 1/2 hour.
