Ginger "Snappies" - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 scant Tbsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. molasses
2 c. flour
2 tsp. soda
Preparation

Cream shortening, sugar and egg very thoroughly.
Add spices and molasses.
Sift flour and soda.
Add to other ingredients. Chill.
Form in nut sized balls.
Dip tops in granulated sugar. Bake on greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
