Butter Nut Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 c. margarine or butter, softened
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. almonds, pecans or walnuts, finely chopped or ground
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
In large bowl, combine first 3 ingredients; blend well.
Stir in remaining ingredients until dough holds together.
Shape into 1-inch balls.
Place 1-inch apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until set, but not brown.
Immediately remove from cookie sheet.
Cool slightly; roll in powdered sugar.
Cool completely; roll again in powdered sugar.
Makes 60 cookies.
