Sauerkraut Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. sausage, cut in 1-inch slices
1 large onion, chopped
2 apples, peeled and quartered
1 large can sauerkraut (undrained)
1 c. water
1/2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. caraway seed
snipped parsley (optional)
Preparation

In skillet, cook sausage and onion until tender.
Drain; stir in apples, sauerkraut, water, brown sugar and caraway seed.
Put in greased baking dish.
Cover and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Garnish with parsley.
Serves 4 to 6.
