24 Hour Omelette - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 slices white bread (French bread can be used)
    1 lb. Longhorn cheese, grated
    8 eggs
    3/4 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    dash of cayenne pepper
    green onions (optional)
    fresh mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Butter bread and cut into cubes.
    Place in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle grated cheese over bread cubes.
    Top with layer of green onions and mushrooms.
    Beat eggs, milk and spices together and pour over.
    Refrigerate overnight.
    Bake, covered, for 1 hour, uncover to brown, about 5 minutes.
    Super brunch dish.
