Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    3 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp baking soda
    5 Tbsp. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Cut in shortening with a fork until the mixture resembles cornmeal.
    Add buttermilk and stir from bottom.
    Put dough on floured dough board and knead unto a soft, workable dough.
    Roll out to 1/2 inch thick and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Place in a lightly greased pan, sides touching.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
